Don Farek
President and owner, Don Farek, has built hundreds of homes in the Central Texas area for more than 50 years. After graduating from Texas A&M University and serving in the U.S Army as an infantry officer, Don and his wife settled into the Killeen area in 1962 where they would raise their three children. It is here in Killeen, that Don began his career in home building and where Cameo Homes established itself as a leader in the building community for its dedication to innovative design and materials, fine craftsmanship and customer care. His dedication to not only the homeowners who trust him to build their homes, but the greater Killeen area are evident in his volunteer efforts. Don served twice as President of the Central Texas Home Builders Association and later served on the Board of Directors. Additionally, he served as a member of the Killeen Planning and Zoning Committee and three terms as Killeen city councilman. Don recently served on the committee and oversaw construction of the Fort Hood Memorial, which was unveiled in March, 2016. Cameo’s motto, “Your Style, Cameo Quality”, comes from his unwavering commitment to building quality homes for the citizens of greater Killeen area.
